We’re Now Open In Virginia-Highland!
As a small business owner, I know it’s important to go with your gut—it’s how I’ve gotten this far. And it was that instinct that told me to jump on an opportunity I saw in my own neighborhood. A longtime resident of Morningside, I’ve frequented the shops and restaurants in Virginia-Highland for a long time. It seemed lucky when the opportunity presented itself to close my two other clinics and move to one beautiful location. I dreamt of having a beautiful lifestyle store with creative retail products attached to my medical practice, and this was too good to be true, to have a storefront within 5 minutes of my home. So I jumped!
Maybe I should say it was more like throttling myself—because we signed the lease on beautiful N. Highland Avenue, and within 28 days we were open and seeing patients. What was once the Green Flamingo is now eia (Ezratty Integrative Aesthetics). Our neighbors have been wonderful in welcoming us, especially Brad Scoggins, the co-owner of Little Barn Apothecary and Green Flamingo, which conveniently moved just down the block. I love the sense of community in our quaint little corner of Atlanta—from neighbors like Dakota J. to Moosh, everyone has been welcoming. Brad even put up our holiday decorations for us and sent us welcome flowers. I love how we’ve been absorbed into a tight-knit community so quickly, and I know that I made the right choice when I said yes to this space.
Now, what to expect! Besides Botox, dermal fillers, and a robust skin clinic, we also have a large preventative medicine practice. We offer unique and highly customized IV therapy for both wellness and in case you get sick you don’t have to sit in an urgent care, we have all the goods. I know not everyone wants to be confronted by weight loss and hormone therapy, so I wanted to ensure I had a way to connect with the community more frequently and chose to do a retail vignette in front of my practice. Even if you aren’t a patient, you can be a patron and visit eia for a beautiful gift or a little luxury for yourself.
We have hard-to-find-in-Atlanta brands like Golde, a superfood health and beauty company, and Cymbiotika, a line of science-backed supplements. There’s also Roote, our line of lotions and room sprays. They’re cruelty-free, organic, and vegan, and come in photo-protected glass jars You’ll find scents named after places dear to me, like Southampton, which smells inviting and clean. We also have our own eia branded candles, again named for Manhattan and Marrakech, two of my favorite places. We also offer two lines of medical-grade skin care: AnteAge MD and Skinbetter science.
I’d love to take a quick moment to thank the people who have been instrumental in making this move happen, and who have supported me and believed in our business. First and foremost my husband John and our three beautiful children. All of my lifelong friends, you know who you are.
I also want to thank Brian Dowdie our contractor, who I have worked with for 15 years. His crew did an incredible job building this place out in 20 days. Totally unbelievable! Our landlord the Meddin Company, has also been amazing.
A loving thanks to Jessica Goldstein from J Gold Salon, one of the first local female-owned businesses to support eia through all three locations. There’s also my friend Zoe Glade, who has been wonderful in mentoring me in all things business. Thank you to Emily Shapiro at identit_e for our branding, and Elizabeth Schmitt of RUBY BOND for being such an amazing friend and cheerleader for eia. I couldn’t have done it without your support.
Please stop by and see us soon! We’re so happy to be in the neighborhood.
